A pair of unusual inkwells, one decorated with a seated human male with the face of a cat wearing courtly attire and holding a naval hat in his right hand and sword or dagger in his left hand, the figure seated on a white form atop a rectangular green grassy pedestal with inkwell hole to right, unmarked, approximately 4.75" tall; and a seated human female with the face of a cat wearing a golden dress, white bonnet, and holding a small purse in her joined hands, seated on a white form atop a green grassy pedestal with inkwell hole to her left, unmarked, approximately 4 5/8" tall.
