American, late 19th/ early 20th century. Group of items comprises of a carved ivory parasol handle of tapered cylindrical form with floral and foliate decoration punctuated with fruit or grain clusters, with beaded border at top and bottom of carved pattern, rosette on end of handle, and undecorated area where handle attaches to parasol, approximately 10.5" long; and a swirled mother of pearl handled dip style fountain pen with gilt metal nib and collar decorated with embossed pattern of leaves and flowers, marked on nib "Arnold Pen Co. Inc.", approximately 6.75" long.
