Leonard Baskin (American, 1922-2000) Man with Pomegranate Signed and dated "L. BASKIN/1967" in the bronze at the base of the figure's left leg. Bronze with dark brown patina, height 37 1/2 in. (95.3 cm). Condition: Minor wear to patina at the top of the figure's head, dust and dirt to interstices. Provenance: Purchased from Boris Mirski Gallery, Boston, Massachusetts, by Dr. Israel J. Rosefsky (American, 1936-2005), Binghamton, New York; by descent to the current Massachusetts estate. Literature: Irma B.
