Numbered and signed "B-1 FrankWBenson." in pencil within the image l.l., pencil annotations to verso. Etching on laid paper, plate size 5 15/16 x 7 7/8 in. (15.0 x 19.8 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Thread margins. Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist. N.B. Paff makes no mention of a second or B group of proofs, so this may well be a proof of the finalized plate outside of the published edition.
