Garabed Der Hohannesian (American, 1908-1992) Crystal Forms Signed and dated "GARABED DER HOHANNESIAN '55" l. r., titled, numbered "#269" and dated "1955" in an inscription and a label, respectively, both on the backing paper. Ink and gouache on paper, 15 3/4 x 11 3/4 in. (40.0 x 29.8 cm), framed. Condition: Crease or similar to u.l. quadrant, subtle rippling, not examined out of frame. N.B. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, currently has eleven paintings by Der Hohannesian in its collection, and the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, Massachusetts, holds six.
