Pair of 19th century Indian miniature portrait paintings on oval ivory panels--one depicting a young woman with dark shoulder length hair wearing a feathered cap, long ornate drop earrings, and jewelry over the top of a red and gold frock in front of light blue to green background, the male sitter wearing similar type of outfit and with pointed beard and long mustache. Both apparently unsigned and contained in matching gilt wood frames. Framed approximately 3.75" x 3.25". Panels approximately 2.5" x 1.8".
