Indian, likely 18th century. A Rajasthani or Rajput painting of natural pigment on paper depicting a courtly figural scene with a male and female figures in profile seated on a cushion just outside a structure of traditional Persian architecture, with three female figures approaching the couple, also in profile, each wearing a colorful garment. These scene set on a white floral tiled floor with a green tiled wall behind and trees in background beneath a blue sky. Unsigned. Framed 10.5" x 8.75", sheet size 6.75" x 5".
