1987 America's Cup Pennant, late 20th century, the slightly tapered pennant in red, white, and blue nylon, composed of a white silhouette of the iconic cup on a blue field above the year "87," and a larger white field trimmed in red centering the number 12 above a line indicating 12 meter class, with "US" below, the heading stamped "Original Flag," overall lg. 41 in. Note: This pennant was reportedly removed from the mast of the Stars and Stripes 87 after Dennis Conner's successful challenge for the 1987 America's Cup, and found its way into the consignor's father's collection.
