Michael Graves (1937-2015) Sketch Elevation for a Residence Pencil and colored pencil on bumwad United States, dated 1988 Elevation of a house with curved roof, two chimneys, the facade broken by a tall central window and three square windows above, to the right a colonnade porch, to the left a covered entrance with flat roof transitioning to a triangular element, pencil inscription and signature "for Warren Graves '88," unmatted, unframed, sheet approx. 15 x 11 1/2 in. Note: Gift of the artist to the consignor who studied with Graves at Princeton, the consignor worked in his office during the 1980s.
