Queen Anne Tiger Maple Carved High Chest, Salem, Massachusetts area, 1750-80, the upper section with the flat molded cornice over a case of five graduated thumb-molded drawers set into lower section of two long thumb-molded drawers, the lower with a faux three drawer facade centering a carved fan above a scrolling skirt on four cabriole legs, with arris knees, ending in pad feet, appears to retain original brass, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 77 1/4, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 18 1/2 in. Note: The top drawer is inscribed "John Woodbury."
