Set of Four Tiger Maple and Gilt Fancy Chairs, New England, early 19th century, including two arm chairs and two side chairs, the tablet crests over pierced horizontal splats interspersed with leaves, flowers and spherules flanked by raked ring-turned stiles joining scrolling arms over balloon-form rush seats on frontal ball and ring-turned flaring legs ending in turned feet, later gold accents, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 33 1/4, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
