Grain-Painted Pine Tall Case Clock, Connecticut, early 19th century, the shaped scrolling crest over glazed tombstone door enclosing a painted wooden dial with Arabic and Roman numeral chapter ring, and gilt and red spandrels below the arch with gilt Masonic symbols over the waist containing an arched door on boxed base with cutout feet joined by scrolled skirt, all-over red and black graining simulating rosewood, wooden thirty-hour movement, (dial with some paint loss), ht. 84, wd. 15, dp. 10 in.
