Carved Wooden Figural Group, Vermont, late 19th century, depicting a horse with leather harness, brass and copper fittings, pulling a two-part sleigh, a man with articulated arms dressed in a cap and coat with a shawl, a lady in a cloak and bonnet, (minor imperfections), 14 x 25 x 14 1/2 in. including base. Provenance: Ex-collection Shelbourne Museum, Shelbourne, Vermont; Kinnaman & Ramaekers. Note: A piece by the same carver is in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Museum, Williamsburg, Virginia.
