Marie Laurencin (French, 1883-1956) "L'Ecuyere," 1926, third state, edition of 80 (Marchesseau, 123). Signed and numbered "71/80 Marie Laurencin" in pencil beneath image. Etching with hand-coloring on cream wove paper, plate size 6 3/4 x 4 3/8 in. (17.1 x 11.1 cm), framed. Condition: Wide margins with deckled edges, unobtrusive soiling, loss to corner (more than 3 inches from image), u.l., light and mat toning, annotations on the reverse.
