American or Continental School, 19th Century Pair of Foil Cutwork Pictures. Unsigned. Embossed gold and various colored foil with watercolor highlights, the pair depicting a hunting scene with the hunter, his horse and dog, taking aim at an elephant and tiger hiding among trees, with a monkey and exotic birds in the treetops, both laid on paper at the bottom edge, and having a three-dimensional look, 18 x 23 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Minor imperfections.
