Cherry Tall Case Clock, New Jersey, 1830-40, the bonnet with scrolled and molded pediment and turned wooden finials over an arched glazed door opening to an eight-day weight-driven movement with a painted metal dial having a calendar aperture and a basket of flowers in the arch with floral and leaf motifs in the spandrels, flanked by reeded columns above a waist with lamb's tongue corners above a box base with fielded panel on scrolled front and side skirts ending in square feet, old surface, finials appear original, (dial with minor repainting), ht. 88 1/2, wd. 18 1/4, base dp. 9 1/4 in.
