Federal Carved Mahogany Tall Post Bed, possibly New Hampshire, the ring-turned, reeded, and leaf-carved footposts continue to faceted supports with lamb's tongue corners joined to the similar but plain ring-turned swelled headposts which flank the arched mahogany headboard, all above faceted supports with lamb's tongue corners which end in Marlborough feet, the flat tester appears original, as do the rails which are fitted for roping, (minor imperfections), ht. 89 1/2, wd. 59 1/2, dp. 78 1/2 in.
