Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Lithograph on paper, sheet size 21 x 29 in. (including folded material), in ogee-molded tiger maple frame. Condition: Margins 3/8 in. or more, print folded along top and left edges 3/4 in. and 2 in., respectively, 1 1/4 in. scattered tears and abrasions, foxing, staining, toning, surface grime. N.B. J.P. Newell, probably of Rhode Island, executed Rhode Island and Massachusetts views for various New York and Boston lithographers. In 1866, he exhibited work at the Pennsylvania Academy.
