Attributed to Ralph Albert Blakelock (American, 1847-1919) Cascades in an Autumn Wood Unsigned, Vose Gallery, Boston inventory numbers "1018" and "T-1544" inscribed on the reverse. Oil on board, 7 1/2 x 5 in. (19.0 x 12.5 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered retouch and losses, varnish inconsistencies, craquelure. Provenance: Silas Dustin to Vose Galleries, Boston, 1903, to the collection of Col. Stanley G. Smith, 1907, descended to Mrs. Wm. A. Kinsman, Newburyport, through to the present estate in 1977.
