Large DEP Bisque-Head Doll, late 19th/early 20th century, deep blue paperweight eyes, open mouth with row of upper teeth, full cheeks, chin dimple, (light cheek rub), impressed DEP, inked 2 at crown, new cork pate, original brown human hair wig, fully jointed French composition body (Jumeau), old white cotton undergarments and dress with lace insertion, pink fabric shoes marked 15 Paris DEPOSE with a bee, ht. 27 in. Note: Penciled on the back of doll's head: "Last doll of Madeline Baenzige bought by the first money made by her sister Caroline by singing Chicago."
