Bisque Socket-Head Doll, Germany, early 20th century, brown sleeping eyes, open mouth with four inset teeth, impressed 27 R B 1, possibly mark of Rempel + Breitung, head has modeling characteristics of Kestner, possibly made by them, brown mohair wig, fully jointed composition body stamped 1 in red, also of Kestner mold and coloration, period cotton undergarments and pinafore, black shoes, ht. 16 1/2 in.
