Two Rookwood Standard Glaze Vases, Cincinnati, Ohio, one decorated by Olga G. Reed, 1893, flared rim on elongated oval body decorated with alder branches and berries, glossy red and green glazes on a shaded green and brown ground; the other decorated by Harriet Wilcox, 1893, embellished with narcissus blossoms on the side in white and green on a shaded glossy green, gold, and brown ground; impressed Rookwood marks, and incised artist's initials, (irregular rim and crack on narcissus vase), ht. 9 1/2 in.
