Queen Anne Cherry Carved High Chest, Salem or Ipswich, Massachusetts, 1750-80, the flaring cornice molding above four thumb-molded graduated drawers on a lower case with molding over two thumb-molded drawers, the lower one visually divided into three sections, the central section with a fan carving with an incised outline above a serpentine skirt with central drop scrolling and similar side shaping, all flanked by cabriole legs ending in high pad feet, original brass refinished, ht. 76 3/4, wd. at cornice 40 1/2, case wd. 36 1/2, case dp. 20, overall dp. 22 in.
