Mahogany Lighthouse Alarm Timepiece, attributed to Simon Willard, Roxbury, Massachusetts, c. 1830, the blown glass dome covers a painted iron dial with engraved brass alarm wheel, brass bezel and weight-driven movement, mounted on the circular turned molded platform, the case below with cove-molded top and box base, beaded recessed panel, hinged door, and painted simulated stringing on stepped cove-molded base and ogee bracket feet, (restored), ht. 28 1/4, wd. 9 1/4, dp. 8 in.
