Queen Anne Cherry Carved Dressing Table, Wethersfield County, Connecticut area, 1750-80, the thumb-molded top overhangs a case of four drawers with the central one fan-carved over a skirt with front and side scrolling on four cabriole legs ending in pad feet, original brass, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 32 3/4, case wd. 30, wd. at top 33 1/2, case dp. 17 3/4, dp. at top 20 in. Provenance: Family descent from M.T. Hazen family, Hartford, Connecticut, who purchased it in 1927 from M.A. Goldstein, also of Hartford.
