Antique Gentleman's Watch Fob/Seal and Chain, the seal chased and engraved with rococo foliate and flower motifs, set with a rectangular carved citrine engraved Col. Rutgers, suspended by a multiple curb-link chain supporting a similarly carved slide, together with a silver-gilt watch key, chain lg. 7 in., 58.0 dwt, fitted box, (possibly original). Provenance: Descended in the family of Col. Henry Rutgers, for whom Rutgers University is named.
