Satsuma Vase, Meiji period (1868-1911), globular form with a tall cannon-mouthed neck flanked by two gate posts with entwined dragons, one side with the sun goddess and various buddhist divinities, the other woman in a garden scene, neck decorated with Tokugawa mons and various brocade pattern, signed Kinkozan in brown-colored seal characters within a square on the base, (minor rubbing to the gilt and a small repair to the dragon on one side), ht. 25 in.
