Likely German, 20th century. A 21 piece tea service for six of white porcelain plated in 22k gold, the service comprising of a lidded teapot (4.625" tall, 9.25" spout to handle), lidded sugar (4.375" tall, 6" handle to handle), creamer, six teacups (3.25" diameter) and saucers (5.625" diameter), and six dessert plates (7.75" diameter), the vessels of quatrefoil form with similar form finials and squared handles, and the teacups of squat cylindrical form with squared handles. Each piece marked to underside "Warranted 22 Carat Gold" below a hand painted black knight on horseback, this mark over an indistinguishable green stamped mark.
