Silk Needlework and Watercolor Picture of Mount Vernon, America, early 19th century, the solidly stitched view of the country estate with the General standing on the porch over looking the hand painted Potomac River with sailing vessels in sight, extending to the pink and blue sky, the foreground having two ladies and a groomsman with hand painted features, a horse and playful colt among flowers and tall grasses, foliate trees and shrubbery complete the picture, framed, 20 x 24 1/2 in.
