Red-Painted Chest on Frame, probably Connecticut, early 18th century, the flat molded cornice above single arch molded case of two short and two long graduated drawers resting on a molded beaded straight frame joining four square stiles continuing to turned bulbous front feet, replaced brasses, escutcheons and pulls, old red painted surface, (early base may not be original to the chest), ht. 42, wd. 32 1/4, dp. 17 in.
