Pair of Painted and Decorated Fancy Chairs, probably New England, c. 1820, the fruit and foliate decorated crest over pierced horizontal splats with paint decoration and spherules joining shaped and ring-turned stiles and scrolling arms, balloon-form rush seats on tapering reeded conical frontal legs ending in ball feet joined by pierced stretchers with spherules, (paint restoration and other imperfections), ht. 34 1/4, seat ht. 18 in.
