Queen Anne Carved Maple High Chest of Drawers, New Hampshire, Dunlap School, c. 1770-80, the cove-molded cornice over upper case of five and lower case of three graduated thumb-molded long drawers, the upper and lowermost drawers each fan carved, over cyma-curved skirt centering scrolling drops and joining four cabriole legs with shaped returns ending in pad feet on platforms, dark stained surface, appears to retain original brasses, (minor imperfections), ht. 78 3/4, wd. 39 1/4, dp. 21 1/4 in. Note: Drawer backs have numerous chalk inscriptions.
