Two Painted and Decorated Bentwood Chairs, New England, early 19th century, the first with fruit and foliate decorated crest flanked by stiles continuing to seat formed of seven bentwood slats on ring-turned and swelled legs joined by shaped front stretcher and double side stretchers, early light brown paint with blue, green, and black accents, the second chair with pale blue paint, (paint wear and imperfections).
