Federal Mahogany Tall Case Clock, Nathaniel Munroe, Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1810, the hood with pierced fretwork joining reeded plinths with brass ball finials above the arched cornice molding and glazed tombstone door enclosing a white-painted iron dial inscribed "warranted by Nath. Munroe Concord," and eight-day weight-driven movement, all flanked by free-standing reeded columns, the double-beaded crossbanded waist door on base with double-beaded panel on cut-out feet, (loss of height, dial repainted, other restoration), ht. 93 in.
