Mahogany and Cherry Tall Case Clock, probably Nathaniel Mullikan II, Lexington, Massachusetts, c. 1770-75, the hood with broken arched cornice molding and three square plinths above the tombstone glazed door with flanking engaged columns, the brass dial with cast spandrels with silvered banner in the arch engraved "Nath. Mulliken + Lexington," above the boss with engraved eagle on a branch, silvered chapter ring, seconds indicator, calendar aperture enclosing the eight-day weight-driven movement, the waist with thumb-molded door on molded base, refinished, (loss of height, restored), ht. 88 in.
