American School, 20th century. "Hollow Figure" - 1980, cast bronze, edition 1/10, signed, numbered, and dated to back of leg. Fluid and streamline modernist figural sculpture depicting a figure in motion with one leg bent at knee with foot moving in front of other knee, one arm overhead, and other arm sweeping across body, the interior aspects of the form being hollowed further suggesting motion or movement, the sculpture mounted to a round wooden plinth. Overall approximately 20.25" tall, 8.5" wide, 6.875" deep.
