A pair of 19th century brass and iron andirons or firedogs comprising of ring turned finials surmounting bulbous brass balls over ring turnings surmounting smaller brass balls resting on acanthus shaped bases with central relief lion masks with brass rings, joined by a curved iron joint to the iron L shaped rear billet bar. Approximate height 27.5", width 9.75", depth 20.5"
