Oil Painted Cloth Izannah Walker Doll, in slat-back painted chair, Rhode Island, c. 1870, painted features, brown eyes with highlights, brown hair, two long curls in front of applied ears, 5 on nape of neck (split at bridge of nose and edge of forehead at hairline, 1 x 1 1/2 in. hole back of head, nose rub, wear and soil), cloth body, painted limbs, black boots (wear and soil), red-sprigged cotton print blouse, silk skirt (yellowed and frail), with aqua fringe trim, ht. 18 in., in canvas seat chair, original finish, ht. 16 in.
