American, late 19th century. A mahogany display cabinet in the Eastlake style in fashion between the 1870s and 1890s, the rectangular display cabinet with glass top opening to the display interior lined in ivory faux bois fabric with satin rope trim, within a frame with molded canted corners, over the molded paneled frieze with partial gilt central rosette with flanking incised gilt foliate vines, the canted corners with central carved rosettes supported by compressed Doric columns, with carved molded scrolls to the left of the carved molded scrolls at each side of the frieze, raised on turned fluted partial gilt legs on casters. Approximate height 30.25", width 35.75", depth 17.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
