(Revolutionary War, Massachusetts Promissory Notes) Two Partially printed and signed State of Massachusetts Bay Promissory notes, both with Paul Revere Engraved decorative motifs, one with Pine Tree, the other with Sword in Hand figure, one June 1, 1779, countersigned by Scollay and Edward Green and signed by H. Gardner, treasurer; the second, June 1, 1777, signed by H. Gardner and countersigned by D. Jeffries, D. Davis and T. Sumner, both canceled, framed.
