Electrical Globe by Albert Lotz, circa 1900, the metal 2 1/2-inch Terrestrial globe by E. Schotte, Berlin, with metal ball inside, on adjustable brass column, mounted inn u-shaped magnet, on tripod stand with candle holder and screw adjustment, ht. 7 in. The magnet has two holes at the ends, one marked N. When electricity is passed through the magnet the field would cause the globe to spin, thus with the candle representing the sun, demonstrate the Earth's movement.
