Hamilton, Alexander (1757-1804) Autograph letter signed, March 24, 1794, two pages, 4to, as Secretary of the Treasury, to The President and Directors of the Bank of the United States, negotiating a loan of one million dollars for the use of the United States Government and proposing particular installments and interest rates for re-payment, "a speedy decision is important to the arrangement of the Treasury... ", with holograph address leaf, framed, (some ink burning).
