Two Decorated Wooden Busks, New York, 19th century, one carved in maple and inlaid with heart and diamond motifs in birds-eye maple and an exotic wood, pyrographic inscriptions reading "REMEMBER THE GIVER J+T W+B N+H," the other painted black with stenciled flower, fruit, and heart motifs and the initials "S A L," (wear), lg. 14 1/4, 13 5/8 in.
