Mahogany Banjo Alarm Timepiece, Simon Willard & Son, the exterior bell mounted above a circular brass bezel and glass, enclosing a white painted metal dial inscribed "Simon Willard & Son No. 4696," centering a stamped brass wheel with eight day brass weight driven alarm movement. The tapering throat eglomise tablet with floral vine and urn design above the lower tablet inscribed "S. Willard Patent" both in half-round molded frames, old finish, (lower tablet replaced), ht. 32 1/2 in.
