Federal Mahogany Pillar and Scroll Clock, Eli Terry, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1817-18, the scrolled cornice with brass urn finials above a glazed door with eglomise landscape tablet opening to a wooden painted polychrome and gilt dial and thirty-hour wooden movement with outside escapement. The label reads "patent, invented, made and sold by Eli Terry Plymouth..." (tablet replaced, other minor imperfections), ht. 30 1/4 in.
