Classical Gilt Gesso Girandole Mirror, probably England, early 19th century, the black painted eagle with out-stretched wings on a molded and reeded plinth holds a chain with attached spherules in its beak continuing to flanking floral and leaf devices above the molded circular frame with spherules, enclosing an ebonized reeded liner and convex glass all on a foliate bracket, (regilding, gesso losses), ht. 29 1/2, dia. 17 3/4 in.
