Two Shaker Items, Mount Lebanon, New York, late 19th/early 20th century, an oval maple carrier with carved upright handle and two lapped fingers, a stuffed floral printed fabric shoe form, carrier ht. 8 3/4, dia. 13 1/8 in., shoe form lg. 5 in. Note: According to oral history the consignor's great Aunt was educated in Mt. Lebanon Village. Her mother and father worked in that village: he made Shaker chairs and she cooked in the kitchen. In the summer they would return to their farm.
