Two American 18th Century Manuscript Documents on Ship Specifications, the first May 5th, 1796, one page, from Elisha Briggs, Master Carpenter, attesting to his work on the Brig Alexander; the second from Daniel Briggs, certifying the Ship William & Mary, both 8vo, framed. Note: Both Briggs brothers served their apprenticeships with their father, Seth Briggs, at the Brick Kiln Shipyard.
