Continental, late 19th/ early 20th century. A group of two oval miniature portraits on bone of Marie Antoinette, an 18th century Queen of France, comprising one depicting the figure at bust length with a garland of roses in her powdered wig and set on a light background, the other depicting the figure standing at waist length in on a dark backdrop wearing a red dress and large stylish hat adorned with long feathers over her powdered wig. Small portrait signed lower right "Villerme", large portrait signed "Muindy". Small portrait approximately 3.5" x 3.125". Larger portrait approximately 4.25" x 3.625".
