George VI Silver Tea and Coffee Service, Birmingham, 1948-49, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, creamer, open sugar bowl, and kettle on stand, all melon form, the domed lids with cast flower finials above chased florals, with everted molded rims, the lobed sides with all-over chased and engraved floral decoration, on circular bases with four molded scroll and shell feet, together with a silver plated tray and milk jug with matching chased decoration, monogrammed, (7 pieces), approx. 175 troy oz., ht. to 12 5/8 in.
